Gunskirchen, Austria, January 10th, 2022 – BRP-Rotax together with EIKO Motorsport, the Rotax authorized distributor for the territories JAPAN, TAIWAN, CHINA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, BRUNEI, VIETNAM, CAMBODIA, LAOS, HONGKONG, MACAU, PHILIPPINES and MALAYSIA would like to inform that they have decided to hand-over the distributorship for the territory of Malaysia by December 31st, 2021. The subsequent transfer of the business and the network to the new partner has been agreed and BRP-Rotax is pleased to inform that Amprex Racing Services Sdn Bhd will be the new partner for Malaysia.
Amprex Racing Services Sdn Bhd will be responsible for the Malaysian territory from January 1st, 2021 onwards. All RMC racing activities, orders and aftersales will be conducted from Amprex Racing Services Sdn Bhd from this point.
Amprex Racing Services Sdn Bhd is headed by Mr. Genji Hashimoto, the owner and operator of the Morac Adventure Park, Langkawi and Morac Go Kart Track 1 Utama. Mr. Hashimoto is fully dedicated to further develop the Malaysian karting market together with Rotax and has already planned 6 RMC race weekends that consist of 12 rounds, 8 rounds in Langkawi and 4 rounds in Sepang.
